I'm a sailor peg
And I've lost my leg
Climbing up the top sailsI lost my leg!
I'm shipping up to Boston whoa
I'm shipping up to Boston whoa
I'm shipping up to Boston whoa
I'm shipping off...to find my wooden leg
I'm a sailor peg
And I've lost my leg
Climbing up the top sailsI lost my leg!
I'm shipping up to Boston whoa
I'm shipping up to Boston whoa
I'm shipping up to Boston whoa
I'm shipping off...to find my wooden leg!

I liked Boston, except for the people. *laughs* Love to hear your opinions.
first we toured Lexington and Concord, which were cool to see the sites of the original fighting, then we went to Salem, which was also cool, because we just got done reading The Crucible, finally got to Boston, checked in, swam, hottub(soooo nice)and stayed up till 1 in the morning, boston itself was cool, they were having a 21 gun salute with 105mm Howitzers when we were there, very loud :D, there were lots of cemetarys, interesting that the puritans could only put skulls on their gravestones, lots of interesting old buildings, best of all was Dick's Last Resort restaurant, were the waiters are paid to insult you:D hilarious, i strongly advise anyone to eat there if you have one nearby. by the way this was all while the Red Sox were in the World Series, so there were lots of people, there were also alot of Irish Pubs, which i thought was funny. oh yeah, and while we were in salem, it was close to halloween, under a full moon, anyways, toured the House of Seven Gables, and the tour guide was so uptight as to be funny, the bunker hill memorial was tall, 295 curving steps up, and i was the first to the top, then back down, peoples legs were shaking it was so exhausting :D the next day we toured westpoint military academy, which was cool, ate at paul's famous restaurant, toured through FDR's house and the Vanderbuilt mansion, it was a good ship all in all, with very few disapointments to offset the mood :D
I remember those tour guides being INCREDIBLY rude, particularly if you asked questions to which they didn't have pre-memorized answers. That, and the steps in that place were claustrophobic.
Glad you had a good time.
right, to picture this guy, think late fiftyish, with a sort of snobby English voice and manner (no offense Daum/Grey)we get into the kitchen and he closes the door, starts his speel, and someone knocks on the door, he practically shouts "Jesus Mary and Joseph!" yanks open the door, dispatches the confused tourist like a silly Frenchman, and returns in a huff, and says "now, does anyone remember what the HELL I was talking about." with a sort of sarcasm that implied that he thought we should think it amusing that he had repulsed those rediculous camera monkeys. the stairs were indeed quite cramped, and one girl from East actually was a bit claustrophobic, however said tour guide did mention that the actual translation of claustrophobia was fear of being underground or something like that, and when they tried to get Reese Taylor up them someone actually mentioned Crisco. i still want a set in my house anyway :D
I LOVE THAT SONG!!!! I was totally just singing it in my head!!!
