awkward

well, i just spent the last few hours surfing the blogs of people i know, and the people they know and i kinda know but probably don't know me. and as was bound to happen, i added some of my own thoughts to their conversations.

BAD IDEA!
jumping into others social circles always was a bit awkward to me, but now that i've sent out several comments to people i am somehow connected to (however vaugley) with the eiree thought ringing through my partially unstable self esteem that i would be shunned and thrown from the herd for putting in my 2 cents. and now i must wait, eagerly anticipating their replies, fearing something like "and who are you again?" or worse, no reaction at all! OH NO, not the cold shoulder.

oh well, noone but my sister will probly read this anyway :D

Nah, I wouldn't worry about being thrown out of the social circle, such as it is. I am having a hard time placing you, though; probably more my fault than yours as I'm terrible with names. Your writing style does seem familiar, though.

*laughs* Should be, should be- this is my brother!!!!

BTW, bro- that ET comment cracked me up. I put it up in my AIM profile, with proper due, of course. How did you come across my blogspot, anyway?

And no need to spaz about talking to people. Just be polite and if they don't like you or ignore you, move on. No need to waste your time if they don't dig on ya.

lol, three comments in one night! i should butt in on people more often :D

during the course of 2 or 3 hours online, i wormed my way through yours, greys, allisons, suzanes (whoever that is), and someone's brother, among others, via links on each other's sites:D

Ah, that explains it! Heh. Hiya, kiddo, nice to see that you've joined the blogging community at large. You're doing mostly fine on the commenting so far, but watch your manners, especially on Grey's blog. He's going through a really tough time right now, and although I get the feeling you were trying to be humorous, you need to take the feelings of whom you're talking to into consideration.

And if the list of useful sleep tips really do contravene your idea of masculinity, then boy howdy do we need a nice long chat about the big bright outside world, kiddo #grins#

Oh yeah, and welcome to the fold. It's a steep learning curve, but I imagine you'll pull through all right.

Arf.. Don't worry, I'll cope.. I'm currently a little messed up at the moment, too much going on at once, hardly at a machine to email and blog. You said howl? #grin# Oh, I do.. but I believe in balance, so anger, pain, and misery can only go on for so long without all that cutey-cute-cute stuff.. (fyi.. I hate baths... and teas great with Whisky ;-D

I *know* you hate baths. I hate chamomile tea...but I do admit it works #grins#

This is Suzanne, Dag. Truthfully, I forgot Red had a brother, as many girls as are in your family. :-P I went to WFHS too, I was a couple years ahead of your big sis. I used to live in West Hickory. Just wanted to introduce myself, after I saw your comment on Grey's blog.
