Wonderful Misery

Oh woe to those who are happy,
the poor should now be glad,
what they have always wanted,
now is theirs to be had.
the beautiful leper,
the desirable drunk,
the little man on top,
with the mob boss in the trunk.
in this world of contradictions,
where ends justify the means,
what truly is the norm here,
what should be seen obscene.

tell me what u think please, keep in mind that i have no idea where exactly that came from or if it makes any sence at all. :D

Did you write it yourself?

NO, that is sarcasm, i unfortunetly cannot get the stupid HTML italics to work and it's MAKING ME MAD! Of course i wrote it, i asked you what you thought of it, not whether you thought me capable of stealing others work. :D

I never said anything about stealing, kiddo; I just figured I'd wait to find out whether or not you'd written it before I made any comments. As it is, it's cynical but good. Keep writing; we'll be interested to see more.

YEAH ME! i recently watched V for Vendetta so that's probably where it was inspired from, the ends justify the means line is almost an exact quote from the movie, thanks for your criticism:D keep it coming

V For Vendetta, while pissing off its original creator Alan Moore, still was a terrific movie that hopefully inspired a lot of people to think who wouldn't have otherwise done so.

i read about that somewhere, real shame when the maker gets the short end of the stick, but like you said, a great movie. for a summary i'm thinking..."1984 with a Mask of Zorro skin and a happy ending" :D
