i also hear that they are planning 2 more sequals :D what in the world will Riddick do with an entire brainwashed army bent on "cleansing" the universe? the suspense is killing me :D

I'm not usually into what I would term overbuilt guys, but Riddick = tasty. It's probably the "he could kill you at any time" thing. #shrugs# Chronicles of Riddick was good entertainment (saw that in the theater- the matte paintings look even better when they're twelve feet tall, btw) and both it and Pitch Black are a lot of fun. I, too, am looking forward to more, when and if he ever gets around to making them. I just sort of like Vin Diesel on principle, too; you have to like anyone who has a tattoo of the name of one of their D&D characters. (He also did the foreword to the 30th anniversary TSR book).
And I believe the answer to your question is, "Whatever the hell he wants to." #grins#

Having said that, I'm afraid I just can't get behind Ghostrider. Not that I've seen it or anything, it's just that I cannot *stand* Nicholas Cage. It's like in every movie he's been in he's played Nicholas Cage, and he's not even very good at that. #shrugs# I read a few of the comics, back in the proverbial day, and if anyone else had starred I probably would have watched it.

indeed, but you know what, some guy just told me that Vin Diesel actually said he was gay, i'm not sure i believe him :D
despite Cage, i liked Ghostrider. a great potential there, "the devil's bounty hunter", the spec. fx's were good, and it's a flaming skeleton, riding a flameing hellcycle, what more could you want, oh and that guy from Grounded for life :D also, i thought it interesting that they called the head demon Metastophelies instead of just devil or satan, and beezlebub is just not the right tone for an antagonist :D if it's any consolation, all the ghostrider sequences were motion captured by a different guy, so Cage was only really in like half the movie :D

Eh, it's no big deal if Vin is gay or not. I'm for everyone finding someone to be happy with who's good for them, and that's hard enough in this world without adding arbitrary rules about who you can and can't consider as a significant other into the mix.

Also, nice to know Cage is only half in the movie. I'm not sure I can stand him long enough to watch it, though.
Interesting about the Mepistopheles thing; as I recall, he was the demon who Faust bargained with, not that actual head Hell honcho.
