so i'm at teh shiksa's, and we're watching the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, towards the end, shiksa says of Sean Connery's character, "Yeah, i adopted an American. I'm not really sure what came over me. I'm pretty sure i was dying at the time."
the hilarity was, well it was funny, okay.

I love that movie...
#sighs# It only makes me wistful for what might have been, if the guy who adapted the comic into the screenplay was willing to put *one* story to the screen, and if both he and the director took meds for their apparent ADD. So many pretty locations to look at, if they spent more than three minutes in any of them. So many nice props and set designs, if they'd spend more than three seconds on any given camera shot.
